Anderson for Clifton City Council Ballot 12 campaign flyer with candidate priorities

Anderson Urges Clifton Voters to Get Engaged, Save Clifton, and Vote November 3

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

CLIFTON, NJ — October 22, 2026 — Clifton City Council candidate Tafari Anderson, Ballot #12, is calling on residents to take an active role in shaping Clifton’s future by participating in the November 3 municipal election and supporting a distinctly conservative approach to fiscal responsibility, public safety, affordability, and accountable local government.

“Clifton is our home, and its future belongs to the people who live here,” Anderson stated. “We cannot afford to remain on the sidelines while rising costs, aging infrastructure, flooding concerns, and development pressures affect our neighborhoods. It is time for residents to get engaged and make their voices heard.”

Anderson is campaigning on six priorities designed to strengthen Clifton:

  1. Clean, Safe, Affordable Community: Support law enforcement, neighborhood safety, and improvements to residents’ quality of life.
  2. Stabilize Taxes: Pursue grants, disciplined budgeting, and responsible municipal spending to reduce pressure on taxpayers.
  3. DOGE-Style Financial Oversight: Review expenditures, strengthen transparency, and demand accountability for every taxpayer dollar.
  4. Improved Recreation and Senior Programs: Expand opportunities for families, young people, and senior citizens.
  5. SMART Infrastructure Development: Address flooding, roads, drainage, and aging infrastructure through responsible long-term planning.
  6. Neighborhood Economic Stability: Support local businesses, responsible development, and strong neighborhoods.

“Conservative government means respecting taxpayers, protecting families, maintaining essential services, and making decisions based on results,” Anderson added. “Our City Council must put Clifton residents first.”

Anderson is encouraging residents to become informed about the candidates, discuss local issues with neighbors, participate in community conversations, and exercise their right to vote.
